SIDNEY, OHIO, JANUARY 25, 2022 – Emerson (NYSE: EMR) has launched the next generation of Copeland™ ZPK7 single (fixed) speed scroll compressors for residential and light commercial HVAC applications including heat pumps, split air conditioning, packaged systems, rooftops and geothermal systems.
The Copeland™ ZPK7 is the most efficient fixed speed scroll compressor in the brand’s 100-year history. The new ZPK7 fixed-speed scroll compressor platform is currently optimized for R410A refrigerant and provides enhanced performance at the SEER2 B rating point condition and at key HSPF2 part load operating conditions. These large efficiency gains are paired with new, innovative compression technology and manufacturing processes that result in reduced compressor to compressor performance variability.

Copeland’s ZPK7 fixed-speed scroll compressors have initially launched with 1.5-5-ton single phase models, with three-phase models following in 2022. This next-generation lineup will offer low-GWP compatibility and an optimized platform for A2L refrigerants.
