Emerson to Present E360 Webinar Exploring Future Refrigeration Architectures

Attendees will learn about emerging architectures that utilize alternative refrigerants

ST. LOUIS, April 22, 2020 – Emerson (NYSE: EMR) announced it will host an E360 Webinar on Tuesday, May 5 at 2 p.m. EDT (11 a.m. PDT) titled “Future Refrigeration Architectures for Meeting Refrigerant Regulations”. It will be co-hosted by Andre Patenaude, solutions director, and Diego Marafon, cold chain product manager, both of Emerson. The E360 Webinar will cover emerging supermarket refrigeration architectures and show attendees how to utilize alternative refrigerants.

Although the refrigeration industry is still navigating the unpredictable landscape of transitioning to refrigerants with lower global warming potential (GWP), current and future refrigerants are being explored by owners, operators and contractors. Whether operating in a state that has a legal mandate or seeking to meet corporate sustainability objectives, system architecture is playing a vital role in the refrigerant transition for many Americans.

“Achieving sustainability goes well beyond selecting an architecture and exploring refrigeration options,” said Patenaude. “Emerging refrigerant options must represent more flexible alternatives to the traditional centralized direct expansion systems that will help reduce refrigerant leaks and system changes.”

Join us as we explore the latest decentralized and distributed architectures that utilize low-GWP refrigerants. Attendees will learn about:
•    How refrigerant regulations are impacting operators by state and region
•    The many factors influencing system selection, from facility size and first cost to serviceability and safety
•    Emerging decentralized and distributed architectures and their wide range of applications
•    How a modular approach to system design enables speed and flexibility
