Copeland to Bring Sustainable Foodservice Solutions to NAFEM Show
Company to showcase advanced technologies for food safety, refrigeration efficiency and helping the industry transition to lower-GWP refrigerants
ST. LOUIS (Feb. 17, 2025) – Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, announced its participation in the 2025 NAFEM Show, which will take place February 26 to 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Marking its first time at the show as a stand-alone company, Copeland will present advanced technologies designed to help the foodservice industry successfully transition to low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants, improve operational efficiency, and safeguard perishable food through an efficient cold chain.
Foodservice operators are balancing many operational and sustainability goals — from improving food quality/safety and minimizing waste to simplifying store management and migrating to eco-friendly, reliable refrigeration. As a leading solutions provider in the foodservice equipment supply chain, Copeland enables store operators and freight and logistics operators to implement robust temperature monitoring and facility management controls. The company also partners with manufacturers to develop the next generation of energy-efficient, lower-GWP refrigeration equipment.
The NAFEM Show will offer a platform for Copeland to demonstrate how it plays a key role across the food supply chain in helping prevent food waste, promoting food safety and quality, and enabling the global population to be fed more sustainably. The company will also highlight its leadership in addressing the transition to lower-GWP refrigerants, compliance with upcoming energy efficiency regulations, and advancements in temperature monitoring technology, helping customers adapt to key industry changes.
At the 2025 NAFEM Show, Copeland will introduce and spotlight the following technologies:
- Low-GWP Refrigerant Platforms: Copeland will highlight a full suite of refrigeration solutions optimized for low-GWP refrigerants, including R-290 (propane), A2Ls and CO2 systems. These technologies, which include compression, condensing units and controls, support foodservice operators in meeting new regulatory standards related to the refrigerant transition and energy efficiency, while achieving sustainability goals.
- Cooper-Atkins Temperature Monitoring Solutions: Celebrating 140 years of innovation, Cooper-Atkins, a proud Copeland brand, continues to support food safety with premium thermometers and advanced temperature probes. These tools help customers minimize food waste, maintain compliance, and reduce costs while safeguarding perishable goods.
- Universal BLE Parametric Controller: This new best-in-class controller features Bluetooth technology and a mobile app, providing an intuitive and powerful solution for foodservice refrigeration controls. It's simple configuration, easy installation and advanced connectivity make it a standout choice for foodservice applications.
- Foodservice Control Solutions: Copeland will showcase its new platform for refrigeration controls, which combines ease of use with a full-touch interface and Bluetooth connectivity to deliver enhanced functionality and energy efficiency. Additionally, facility controls such as the Copeland Site Supervisor and Equipment Manager will be on display to enable safeguarding perishable products.
Copeland’s experts will be on-site throughout the NAFEM Show to discuss how its technologies and deep expertise and innovation in cold chain and refrigeration technology help address the evolving needs of foodservice professionals. Booth #2006 will feature live demonstrations and interactive displays, offering attendees opportunities to explore the full breadth of Copeland’s solutions and learn how they contribute to a more sustainable future for the foodservice industry.
Copeland invites attendees to join its in-booth Happy Hour events on February 26 and 27 from 3 to 5 p.m., where they can network with Copeland representatives and learn more about the company’s innovative offerings.
