This innovative project provides robust performance in low temperatures, flexible operation and energy savings, standing as a model for sustainable heating technology designed for colder climates in the northern region of China. As China deepens its national dual-carbon strategy and key policy documents are introduced, the importance of strict energy standards and clean heating for buildings in Northern China is clear. The newly built Zaozhuang Vocational College was completed in 2024. The project targeted maximization of energy efficiency under partial load conditions, while providing cooling in summer and heating in winter. In addition, the low-temperature and high-humidity environment, varying water temperature requirements for conventional heating, distributed installation, and noise reduction demands all posed application challenges which were effectively overcome.
